A classical concept with a modern twist: A 3D printed film camera.

Pinhole was born from my passion for Photography and my interest in the capabilities of 3D printing.

The idea is that consumer goods are conceptualised in CAD by a designer while the production takes place at the end-users‘ home, challenging the current system.

The style is kept extremely minimal and modern as a contrast to the origins of the camera obscura.

The design is built up in stackable, light-proof layers. This allows the user to individually choose materials or colours for the individual parts. Should a part break or be updated, it can easily be replaced.
