The iPad is a wonderful tool for creatives: portable, a great UI for Sketching or even CAD – all intuitively controlled with the Apple Pencil.

Unfortunately this pencil is quite fragile, especially at the most important bit: the tip. To be able to toss it in my pencil case I created a little 3D-printable cap with a quite functional geometry. Since I can’t be the only person that is already on the replacement tip, you can print it too!

So if you have a 3D printer yourself or have access to one through work or a friend, please feel free to download the STL file and make some copies.

The printing time in FDM with the Normal Mode selected should be around 15 – 20 Minutes max.

As soon as I upgrade to a new iPad, I’ll upload a new version for you!
